By submitting content to social media sites on a particular (prefrably niche) topic, you can become an expert, and in some ways, a brand.

Think that Google News is the place to be? Sorry, but its probably Yahoo! It gets bigger traffic, but less press mentions - maybe you should aim to be on both?
